Over the Queen’s Birthday weekend I went to Mum and John’s place in Boonah which is about 40km southish of Ipswich. Amazing countryside, very volcanic, mountains pop up out of nowhere and some of them are still almost perfectly conical.

We celebrated their 50th and 70th birthdays with a celebration of decadence for their combined 12 decades. I behaved decadently and gave them Kmart Decadent Chocolate Chip cookies, which are the world’s best chocolate chip cookies.
