A while back a Gerry Parlevliet from Perth (no immediate relation) contacted me as he had found me through this website and I mentioned my mothers genealogy studies(so there you go, it does get read by people I don’t know occasionally!). I was unable to help him much as my mother is researching her English/Irish relatives, and I realised I didn’t even know Oma and Opa’s full names. But Aunty Anna had some stuff for him, which he’s not sure about but my great-grandfather Jacobus Parlevliet *might* be the son of one of the people that he already has in his database. If he can confirm *that*, he’s got info back to the 1640’s!?!
