Ashleigh’s Cub Pack, along with the scout troop, went through the Croydon Le Pine Funeral Home tonight for something new. It was a really good thing for them, they were really engaged by the guy presenting. He ran through a slide show first, detailing a lot of what they do and what goes on, then we got to go see the viewing room, the hearses (they were all Fords, as if being dead isn’t bad enough…), the mortuary, some coffins and caskets etc.

Needless to say, at question time I asked him if they ever got to take the work car home. He said no.
