Got enough money for my birthday and for last Christmas to get a new guitar, as well as a hard case for it. Ordered it on the weekend, it’ll be in Tuesday afternoon/wednesday morning.

It’s an Ibanez AEG10 acoustic electric. I’m hoping for a blue sunburst (see here for a red sunburst, and imagine blue) but they don’t make them anymore, it’s just a matter of whether the supplier still has any in stock. Otherwise, trusty old black (Got any blacker?)

For people who know, it’s got a Fishman Sonicore pickup, and the Ibanez AEQ-SS onboard EQ. Dunno if that’s any good *shrug* but it does have a nice slimline body and good string action, and I read several reviews online that praised it as best bang for buck in low end acoustic/electrics, so hopefully we will have a long and happy life together
