That’s right, we are looking for something bigger. Specifically, we want a study and a decent backyard, which we don’t have. We’re staying in the same general area, as we are very happy with Ashleigh’s school, and we don’t want to move Connor’s day care, so we have to stay in Maroondah council area. Basically it’ll be Croydon or Bayswater North.

This little gem here (clicky for biggy) is from a house we looked at online somewhere. It’s not one of the rooms I would’ve wanted highlighted I think, a dining room like that does not scream entertaining, no matter how South Yarra your dining table looks. And what the hell is that thing hanging from the ceiling, looks like a roof mounted laser.

We’ve started looking around at things. Another treat we’ve seen is an ‘American style laundry’. Allegedly all the remodelled houses have them these days. You’d think that means awesome huge with masses of cupboard and bench space, but in actual fact it’s a tiny nook off the kitchen that literally fits only a sink and a washing machine. I must be so passe.
